Singapore Tourist Visa: Flight & Lodging Checklist
Singapore is a global transit and tourist hub. The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) maintains high regulatory standards for entry visas and social visit passes.
ICA Requirements for Tourist Visas
When submitting an application through authorized visa agents or Singapore overseas missions, applicants must provide a complete flight itinerary showing arrival at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) and onward or return departure.
Checklist for Singapore Visitors
- Round-Trip Flight Itinerary: Verifiable airline booking indicating flight numbers and departure timings.
- Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC): Must be completed within 3 days prior to arrival, detailing flight number and accommodation name.
- Confirmed Hotel Booking: Proof of lodging at a licensed hotel or serviced apartment in Singapore.
- Entry to Next Destination: If Singapore is a transit stop, you must possess valid entry visas and tickets for your next port of call.
Transit Without Visa (VFTF)
Nationals of eligible countries qualifying for the 96-hour Visa Free Transit Facility (VFTF) must hold an onward flight ticket departing Singapore within 96 hours. A verifiable GDS dummy ticket fulfills this requirement seamlessly.
